This is a plain account of what we collect on ontherockssupplyco.com, why, and who else touches it. If a sentence here would be a surprise to you as a customer, we'd rather rewrite the sentence than the practice.
What we collect
When you browse, buy, or sign up:
- Order information. Name, email, shipping address, phone number, and what you bought. Phone is required for shipping, a carrier needs a way to reach you if a delivery has a problem.
- Payment information. Handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email signups. If you join the newsletter, we keep the email address you give us.
- Cart and wishlist. Saved in your own browser's local storage so your bag doesn't empty on refresh. This stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
- Standard site logs. IP address, browser, device type, and pages viewed, collected automatically by our hosting provider, the same as almost any website.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We do send parts of it to the specific companies that make an order actually happen:

Each of these companies has its own privacy practices governing the data once it reaches them.
Advertising and analytics
We use, or may use, tracking pixels and tags from advertising and analytics platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and TikTok. These place cookies or similar technology in your browser and share information about your visit, such as pages viewed and purchases made, with that platform. This lets us measure how well our marketing works and show relevant ads to people who've visited before. It does not give us access to your social media account or anything beyond your interaction with this site.
You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, your device's ad-tracking controls, or each platform's own ad-preference settings (for example, Meta's Ad Preferences or Google's Ad Settings).
Why we collect it
- To take your order, charge you correctly, and get the right product to the right address
- To tell you your order is confirmed, and again once it ships
- To answer you when you email us
- To send marketing email, only if you signed up for it, and only until you unsubscribe
- To understand how people use the site and to run advertising, as described above
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing email anytime, link's in every email we send.
- Ask what we have. Email hello@ontherockssupplyco.com and we'll tell you what's on file for your email address.
- Ask us to delete it. Same email address. We'll remove what we can, minus anything we're legally required to keep, like tax and order records.
- California residents have specific rights under state law to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. The same request address above covers this.
Kids
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone that age.
How we protect it
We use standard security practices, including handling payment entirely through Stripe rather than our own systems. No method of storing or sending data online is completely risk-free, but we don't treat that as an excuse to be careless with it.
Where this applies
We're based in the United States and this site is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you're visiting from elsewhere, your information will be processed here.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. Worth a re-read every so often if you're curious, but we're not going to bury changes in fine print.
